Get to the payload! At today’s Blizz Con, Lego revealed the first series of Overwatch sets slated to release in January 2019. With prices ranging from $14.99 to $89.99, these packs depict battles from the game, each coming with a number of heroes shrunk down to minifigure size.
The six sets in series one are Tracer vs. Widowmaker, Hanzo vs. Genji, Dorado Showdown, D.Va and Reinhardt, Bastion, and Watchpoint: Gibraltar. Along with the heroes mentioned in the set titles, you’ll also see minifigures for Mercy, Pharah, Winston, Reaper, McCree, and Soldier 76 included some of the boxes. Oddly, there’s also a figure for a Shimada henchman. The box art also shows some of the heroes riding inside of the payloads – something I wish I could do to avoid dying so much.
You can take a look at all of the sets in the viewer above. If you listen closely, you can almost hear the minifigures complaining about a lack of healing.
