Blizzard announced that their upcoming major patch for Overwatch requires players to reinstall the full game, and yes Blizzard stated it is for all platforms. A note on Blizzards forum explains that the development team is introducing some fundamental and substantial changes that cant be simply patched over the current game. As a result, a full reinstall is required to handle the changes on all platforms as told via an email to Kotaku, the studio called it a remaster patch that will affect all platforms.
