A new animated series about World War II is heading to Netflix.
The streaming service has ordered The Liberator, which tells the true story of U.S. Army officer Felix Sparks and his infantry unit’s journey from Italy to the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp in Germany.
The Liberator will utilize Trioscope technology, which blends CGI and live-action elements. Jeb Stuart, who co-wrote films like Die Hard and The Fugitive, created the series and will serve as a writer and executive producer.
