After the Friends confusion on Netflix over the weekend, Netflix will reportedly pay around $100 million to keep licensing the show from WarnerMedia, its current owner, according to The NYTimes.

In the past, Netflix’s licensing deal for Friends was at $30 million per year to be able to stream the series on its platform. The deal was reportedly up by the end of 2018, with Netflix and AT&T – WarnerMedia’s parent company – both in negotiations for months trying to extend it.
