Phoenix Labs’ Monster Hunter-inspired action game, Dauntless, is coming to the Epic Games Store and consoles. If you missed out on what Game Informer’s Dan Tack called a “fantastical ride” in his review back when the game released for PC in 2018, this might be your chance to check it out.

The console announcement trailer highlights the game’s co-op nature and it’s fun stylized graphics. Watch as a disparate band engages in an epic battle against a lightning-breathing dragon and a deadly looking lava-encrusted dinosaur creature.

Phoenix Labs has also shared the first details on a series of new features and updates arriving to the game including:

  • One Dauntless – The upcoming multi-platform launches also bring the game closer to One Dauntless, a vision that provides players with seamless cross-platform play, progression and account management across all platforms, worldwide.
  • Frostfall In-Game Update Now Available – The Dauntless gameplay experience on PC continues to grow and evolve and the next major content update, Frostfall, will reshape the Shattered Isles starting December 6.
  • New Behmoth: Valomyr – Slayers will also have a chilling new challenge on their hands with the introduction of a new Behemoth: Valomyr
  • Dauntless Hunt Pass Now Available – The Dauntless Hunt Pass provides players with new challenges and big rewards beginning today. The Hunt Pass is a new feature offering in-game activities and challenges that players can purchase for $10.00 to earn a collection of exclusive items, emotes, cosmetics and more.

Dauntless will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Epic Games Store in April 2019. Look out for the game to release on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices later in 2019.
