Xbox Game Pass is getting a hefty dose of melodrama, maturation, and mistake-making. The entirety of the Life is Strange library is coming to Xbox’s subscription service.
The most relevant entry is Life is Strange 2, which is currently only 20 percent complete. The first episode comes to Xbox Game Pass tomorrow. However, this doesn’t seem to be a glorified free trial that asks you to pay for the other four chapters. The announcement post on Xbox Wire says “…plus look out for episodes 2 [through] 5 coming to Xbox Game Pass soon,” which will presumably be on their launch dates.
However, the rest of Life is Strange was also recently introduced to Xbox Game Pass. Both the original Life is Strange and the prequel Before the Storm were quietly added toward the end of December. Anyone who’s looking for all of Life is Strange, past and future, can find it on Xbox Game Pass.
But, teenage drama isn’t the totality of Xbox Game Pass’ newcomers in January. Ark: Survival Evolved (January 3), Farming Simulator 17 (January 3), Absolver (January 7), Just Cause 3 (January 10), and Aftercharge (January 10) are all set for the first half of the month. Xbox Game Pass is starting out 2019 in strong fashion.
