Humble has announced that Nintendo Switch and 3DS games will now be available on the store. While the digital distributor has previously offered bundles with PS3, PS4, and Wii U games, this is the first time it has offered console downloads for purchase individually. It also could point to potential discounts separate from the eShop, which would be great.
Currently, the only games available are Nintendo-developed titles (Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, etc), but I’m sure the list will continue to expand in the future. Nothing is on sale and the available titles are limited, but being able to buy from a web browser might be more convenient for some people. It also means you don’t need to store your credit card info on the Switch, which is great.
