It’s interesting times in the gaming world. Not too long ago, after mounting pressure, Sony opened its doors so cross-play would be available for Fortnite between Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation. Now it looks like a new game will enjoy the privileges of cross-play.
Today, Psyonix revealed that cross-play for Rocket League between all platforms is now available.

While Rocket League is certainly popular, it’s nowhere near the phenomenon that Fortnite is. Perhaps this means that Sony is easing back on cross-play for a wider range of titles in the future? Guess we’ll find out one way or another.
