Writer and director of the last two Mission: Impossible films, Chris McQuarrie, seemingly hasn’t been bitten by the superhero bug.
The Rogue Nation and Fallout writer-director has reportedly turned down offers from a number of studios in favour of returning to the Mission: Impossible franchise for two more movies.
THR reports that Warner Bros. was among the group attempting to lure him away, offering up the prospect of upcoming DC projects, but McQuarrie has signed up as writer and director once again on the next two instalments of the Mission Impossible series, which will be filmed back-to-back.
