Epic Games and Deep Silver announced today that the digitally-distributed PC version of Metro Exodus will be released exclusively through the Epic Games Store.

In a notice on the official Metro Exodus Steam page, it was revealed that “Later today, sales of Metro Exodus will be discontinued on Steam due to a publisher decision to make the game exclusive to another PC store.” That PC store, of course, is the Epic Games Store, which has been attracting various developers by taking a relatively small 12 percent revenue share of sales through the service. As such, the game will be selling for $50 in North America through the Epic Games Store.
