BT Sport has extended its app to Xbox One, Apple TV and Samsung Smart TVs
The app, which has previously been restricted to PC and mobile devices, will initially allow users to stream all 1080p BT Sport channels.
The app will be updated to allow for 4K streaming and on-demand elements in future. BT adds that further platforms will be supported at a later date.
The app is free to use for any existing BT Sport subscriber, and app-only subscriptions cost £9 a month.
The move brings BT Sport closer to its main rivals, such as Sky, who have had console apps for some time.
