The sequel to World War Z, which was set to be directed by David Fincher, has reportedly been put on hold due to budget issues and a lack of momentum.
Broken by The Playlist and further reported on by THR, preproduction for the sequel to the 2013 film was halted last night, and Paramount and producers with Brad Pitt’s Plan B company reportedly started making calls to the crew of the film on Wednesday morning, informing them of the news. The film was reportedly set to begin production in spring or early summer in Atlanta.
