HBO has released the first official photos from Game of Thrones Season 8, and naturally, they don’t reveal much about the hotly-anticipated final episodes.
Still, they’re proof that winter is finally upon us, and that for now, all of our favorites are still alive.

The alliance between Jon and Daenerys is in full effect, as the duo can be seen looking out upon their icy domain, perhaps facing down the Night King’s encroaching army of White Walkers, judging by the look of worry on Dany’s face. Cersei, meanwhile, is standing alone, following Jaime’s defection at the end of last season. Hit the comments with your theories on what the photos may or may not be telling us.
