IGN was among the media outlets invited last week to the Warner Bros. backlot to watch roughly fifteen minutes of footage from Shazam!, during which time director David F. Sandberg and producer Peter Safran confirmed their DC movie has an end credits scene and addressed rumors about cameos from Henry Cavill’s Superman and/or Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.

Again, Dwayne Johnson Won’t Cameo as Black Adam
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been attached to play Black Adam since 2014. In the five years since that official announcement, it was decided that Shazam! and Black Adam, one of Shazam’s most iconic villains, would get two separate movies in order to do each character justice. And although Johnson has twice denied that he’d appear in Shazam! (first in 2017 and then again in 2018), one of the journalists asked the filmmakers about a rumor he’d heard that Johnson was indeed available and interested in making a cameo as Black Adam in a post-credits scene but the concern was that a costume would not be available in time to do it. The filmmakers shot that rumor down.
