Two of the finest pop-culture products of the 1980s are together at last. Hasbro just revealed its Transformers Generations Collaborative Ghostbusters Mash-Up Ecto 1 Ectotron figure.
That’s kind of a mouthful, so in the interest of brevity, it’s best described as an Ecto 1 that turns into a robot. Yes, that’s right: the iconic converted ambulance from the classic 1984 Ghostbusters movie is now available as a toy that turns into a robot warrior based on the Transformers line first released that same year.
In car form, the Ecto 1 looks incredible, almost to the point of not looking like a Transformer at all. In Ectotron form, he wields a proton pack and the set includes a translucent Slimer.
