The winners of this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards have been revealed, and Devilman Crybaby and My Hero Academia dominated the competition.
Devilman Crybaby, which IGN awarded Best Anime Series of 2018, won Anime of the Year. In addition, Masaaki Yuasa, who helmed the critically-acclaimed Netflix series, was awarded Best Director.
My Hero Academia Season 3 scored wins in the Best Antagonist, Best Boy, and Best Fight Scene categories. Christopher Sabat won Best English Voice Actor for his performance as All Might, and MHA’s first movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, won Best Film.
