Although I’m not crazy about Lost Sphear, it’s a shame that I am Setsuna was kind of lost in the fold when it was released in 2016. It had its issues but it was a hell of a debut for Tokyo RPG Factory. That feels like forever ago though as they’re now on their third game: Oninaki, which was only just revealed as part of a Nintendo Direct presentation last week.

Although the trailer did a decent enough job getting the point across, thanks to a new issue from Famitsu we have some more info to go on. It seems as if Takashi Tokita, one of the directors of Chrono Trigger and of course the often forgotten Parasite Eve, is on the project. He’ll be handling creative producer duties alongside of Hirotaka Inaba, who also worked on previous Tokyo RPG Factory titles. Atsushi Hashimoto will be directing.

Square Enix says that the game is roughly “65% done,” and will be debuting this summer on PC, PS4 and Switch.
