The director for the upcoming Ghostbusters movie, Jason Reitman, has said his movie is intended to appeal to fans of the first two films.
In an interview on Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast (via The Playlist) Reitman, the son of the original films’ director Ivan Reitman, made several comments that perhaps distance this movie from the 2016 reboot. Reitman believes this film will be more in line with the original Ghostbusters films, citing his own attachment to the movies that were made in his youth.
