Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige has confirmed in an interview with Comicbook.com that the standalone Black Widow movie will have a PG-13 rating, despite previous rumors that it might be R-rated.

Feige was asked if the rumor of Black Widow being R-rated could be officially quashed, in which he responded, “Yes. Correct.”

“It never was going to be

,” Feige said. “Somebody writes, ‘I hear it’s R-rated!’ And then everybody writes it up.”

Details of the untitled Black Widow film have remained under wraps, with Scarlett Johansson confirmed to reprise her role as the Russian spy turned SHIELD agent. Any involvement from other Avengers characters are currently unknown, but it has been reported that Cait Shortland will be directing the film, with a script from Jac Schaeffer.
