Remember the time Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella announced Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order while being interviewed in the crowd during EA’s E3 2018 press event? That was pretty good.
Since that quiet announcement, we’ve learned that Jedi: Fallen Order will focus on a “surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.”
We won’t have to wait until E3 2019 to hear more. Respawn has scheduled its first look for April 13 during a panel at the Star Wars Celebration fan event. “The discussion will feature never-before-released details ahead of the game’s fall 2019 release,” according to the official Star Wars website.
Did you hear? #StarWarsJediFallenOrder will be at #StarWarsCelebration Chicago! See the game for the first time on April 13th.
Plus, hear from @MattLanter about his work on #StarWarsBattlefrontII. https://t.co/vE0oPnYDSZ

This is a lightsaber-wielding Stars Wars game from the studio behind Titanfall. Despite all of EA’s missteps in general and with Star Wars specifically, I’m hopeful. It feels like Respawn is in a good place given the warm reception to Apex Legends, and I’d love for that to carry into Jedi: Fallen Order.
