A new report suggests that The Batman, which once starred Ben Affleck, will be set in the 1990s and Penguin will be one of the main antagonists of the film.
Via Batman-News.com, DiscussingFilm.net has also said that The Batman will show us a younger version of the Dark Knight, as well as Commissioner Gordon and Bruce Wayne’s trusty butler and friend Alfred Pennyworth.
The report further describes how director and writer Matt Reeves has adjusted the script a bit to add a bit more action, although the focus on the film will still be on Batman’s detective skills and solving a mystery.
