Batman just celebrated his 80th birthday in Detective Comics #1000 this week, but that’s just the start of the big changes coming for the Caped Crusader in 2019. Today at WonderCon, DC revealed a brand new logo for Detective Comics.
The previous Detective Comics logo (which has been in use since 2003) is being replaced by a new version that frames the title against a Batman emblem and replaces the red and black text with a more Batman-worthy blue and yellow scheme. This logo was designed by DC’s Periodical Design Director Ken Lopez. Check it out below:
