In a recent interview with Total Film magazine, directors of Avengers: Endgame, Joe and Anthony Russo, explain why the film came in at just over three-hours long, as reported by GamesRadar.

“It’s 10 years of one of the greatest experiments in movie history coming to a close, and you know, it’s an epic narrative that’s fitting right around three hours,” Joe Russo said.

In terms of being pressured to cut the minutes down, Anthony Russo said the two of them are usually the ones to put that pressure on themselves.
