The director, screenwriter and producer of Shazam! are reportedly expected to return for its sequel.
Per The Wrap, screenwriter Henry Gayden is set to write this DC sequel, and director David F. Sandberg and producer Peter Safran are also expected to return for the project.
Shazam! is Gayden’s first major box-office success, with his most recent previous screenplay being the 2014 film Earth to Echo. Gayden is also writing the screenplay for Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s upcoming film, Last Human.
