Capcom is slinging another oldie-but-goodie from its enviable back catalogue onto Switch later this year, this time in the form of Hideki Kamiya’s beloved Devil May Cry.

Devil May Cry, which originally launched on PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2001, is a genuine hack-and-slash classic, pitting its white-haired protagonist Dante against the legions of hell. And Dante’s been bopping demons on the bonce ever since, and the series now has four direct sequels and one divisive reboot to its name – with its most recently entry, this year’s Devil May Cry 5, marking a grand return for Capcom’s iconic hero.

As for the new Switch version, there’s not a whole lot of information just yet, although Capcom has released a number of screenshots to accompany its original Twitter announcement.
