George Clooney, who portrayed the Caped Crusader in Batman & Robin, gave Ben Affleck some solid advice about playing Batman: “Don’t do it.”
Revealed in an interview on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, when asked if Clooney talked to Affleck about potentially playing Batman in Dawn of Justice while working together on Argo, Clooney said “I actually did talk to him about it. Yeah, I said ‘Don’t do it.’ It was only from my experience… He did great, though.”
