Every now and again, something will happen in this world of ours that already happened in a different world. That would be the universe of The Simpsons, the iconic FOX sitcom that some consider the greatest television show of all time. On numerous occasions, we’ve shouted “The Simpsons did it!” to actual current events. The latest example of this phenomenon is that time the show depicted a dragon torching an entire town in the 2017 episode “The Serfsons,” a Game of Thrones spoof (which also featured a cameo from GoT’s Jaime Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) which of course is what happened during the crazy and divisive “The Bells.”
