Trevor Eastman, a huge Borderlands fan who has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal, stomach, and liver cancer and given only a year left to live, may have one of his dreams come true as 2K Games is said to be planning to fly out to him to ensure he is able to experience this new title.
As reported by DualShockers, Eastman posted on Reddit and explained his situation and how he isn’t sure if he will live to see the release of Borderlands 3 on September 13, 2019. He asked the Borderlands subreddit to help make his dream come true, and the community rallied behind him and amplified his wish.
