Pennywise is prepared to haunt San Diego Comic-Con 2019 this year with IT Chapter Two slated to have a presence this year, but not in WB’s familiar Hall H setting.
Director Andy Muschetti confirmed on his Instagram that the highly anticipated IT sequel will be present at SDCC, but it will be showcased at WB’s “ScareDiego” event adjacent to SDCC. WB will be specifically focusing on its horror slate during the yearly convention, foregoing any sort of Hall H panel presence as has been a staple in years past.
As a result, WB will not be spotlighting its upcoming superhero slate as it has in previous years, with the studio’s Hall H panel having showings of Wonder Woman 1984 and Shazam in 2018.
