Game of Thrones may be over, but it sounds as if HBO intends to give the cast one last hurrah at San Diego Comic-Con. Deadline reports that Game of Thrones will return to Comic-Con for 2019 after skipping last year’s convention, and if the report is accurate, the show is expected to once again occupy Comic-Con’s biggest stage in Hall H. (Considering that Warner Bros. won’t be highlighting its upcoming superhero movie slate and Disney is expected to save the bulk of its Marvel, Star Wars, and animation presentations until the company’s D23 Expo in August, Game of Thrones would likely be one of the biggest titles at the con if the rumors are true.) HBO declined to comment on Deadline’s report.
