The original creator of Cyberpunk, Mike Pondsmith who is assisting with the development of Cyberpunk 2077 has told VGC he expects CD Projekt Reds game to release for next-gen consoles. The games UI coordinator Alvin Liu has also told the site he thinks the studio will be very fair with whatever it decides to do in regards to a potential next-gen version.
