Nintendo revealed five new amiibo during E3 2019 – Link from The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Incineroar, Dark Samus, Chrom, and Richter from the Super Smash Bros. series.
In addition to these new amiibo, Nintendo also announced release windows for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Squirtle, Ivysaur, Solid Snake, and Simon Belmont.
- September 20, 2019: Link – The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Solid Snake
- November 2019 – Incineroar, Chrom, Simon Belmont
- 2020 – Dark Samus, Richter
This new Link is obviously modeled after The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on Nintendo Switch, which will also be launching on the same day as the amiibo – September 20, 2019.
