June 21 marks the official start of summer, but it also offers PlayStation 4 owners something significantly cooler. Starting this Friday, Capcom is releasing a limited-time beta for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Hunters who are able to successfully complete its three quests can unlock special item packs when the expansion is officially released.

The beta is available to PlayStation Plus subscribers starting at 3 a.m. on June 21 through Monday at 3 a.m. Pacific. Another beta is available to all PS4 owners a week later, from June 28 through July 1. The beta includes hunts against Great Jagras, the all-new Banbaro, and returning monster Tigrex.
