Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a major expansion to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC game that’s set to release September 6. Here’s the idea behind Monster Hunter World: you hunt monsters, collect their parts, and craft those parts in to powerful weapons and armor that will let you hunt even bigger monsters to keep the cycle going. It’s a tried-and-true formula that Iceborne will add to, with a chilly new area, new monsters, new gear, and master rank quests.
To get the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion, you can buy it digitally as an add-on if you already have the game, or pick up a new version called the Master Edition that will be available in September when the expansion launches.
