Although interest in Apex Legends has significantly waned (it went from the top game on Twitch for several weeks to not cracking the top five for some time), Respawn is still keen on supporting it, and EA is very happy with it.
The next huge wave of support comes with season 2, which heralds in a brand new character (Legend) called Wattson, as well as a new battle (season) pass, more challenges, alterations to the (currently sole) King’s Canyon map, ranked leagues, and many weapon balance changes. Highlights for the latter include an increase in damage for the Flatline, P2020, Alternator, and Kraber.
Legends have also been tweaked, with the Bloodhound gaining real-time tracking instead of the “ghost” concept for his ultimate. The Mirage can thankfully now end her cloaking state early, and Gibraltar’s Dome of Protection last a little longer with three additional seconds.
You can find the full patch notes below! I hope your favorite thing wasn’t nerfed. My favorite change is quality of life oriented: pings are now a little more precise!
