Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has revealed that yes, the MCU really does have a multiverse, and that it was actually confirmed during the events of 2016’s Doctor Strange.
Talking to Fandango, when asked if Mysterio’s lie about his origins in a different plane of the multiverse means there will never be a multiverse in the MCU, Feige said “No, it just means he was full of s**t. I mean, in Doctor Strange, we hear the Ancient One talk about the multiverse, so we’ve already established it as a thing.”
