Kōhei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, has said that the upcoming film My Hero Academia The Move Heroes: Rising might just be the last movie based on the popular manga.
As reported by Crunchyroll via Comic Natalie, the “Hero Fes.” event revealed that My Hero Academia The Movie Heroes: Rising will be released in theaters in Japan on December 20, 2019. Kenji Nagasaki will be back as director, with Yosuke Kuroda writing the script and Yoshihiko Umakoshi handling characters designs.
