Believe it or not, a Marvel Studios movie was supposed to come out today. At least, according to Marvel’s Phase 3 slate revealed by MCU mastermind Kevin Feige years ago that featured The Inhumans. The Marvel film that never was initially sported a November 2, 2018 release date, but four months later along came a Spider-Man movie deal between Sony and Marvel that saw Marvel change several release dates and the Inhumans movie moved to July 12, 2019. The movie was originally going to come out after what was once called “Avengers: Infinity War – Part II,” which later became Avengers: Endgame. But plans changed and Inhumans was instead adapted to a TV show on ABC — one that bombed and was canceled after a single season.
