Earlier today Nintendo announced a new Switch model with an extended battery life. The new model, which builds off the original Switch rather than the recently announced Switch Lite, increases the console’s battery life from 2.5-6.5 hours to 4.5-9.
While this is a fairly significant jump, we were curious to see how the Switch’s new battery life compares to that of other handhelds, so we collected the official numbers from Nintendo and Sony and compiled them in the gallery below.
