Edward Furlong, the actor who played young John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day will be returning to the franchise in Terminator: Dark Fate.
James Cameron, the director of the first two Terminator films and a producer/writer on Dark Fate, made the announcement during a panel for the movie at San Diego Comic Con 2019.
It was also announced that the movie, directed by Tim Miller (who directed 2016’s Deadpool), will be rated R. “The DNA of Terminator is an R-rated f**kin’ movie,” he said.
