Though we’re still trying to wrap our heads around it, 1999 was a staggering 20 years ago. And as much as the passing of time completely baffles us, it does mean it’s the perfect excuse to look back at one of the most unique, unexpected, and enjoyable takes on Batman ever put to screen. We’re talking, of course, about the presciently dystopian world of the animated series Batman Beyond.
