Blumhouse has announced two sequels to Halloween 2018, which brought back the masked killer Michael Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode.
Halloween Kills, the follow-up to the 2018 revival, will be released on October 16, 2020, while Halloween Ends will be released on October 15, 2021, just under one year later. Blumhouse’s tease for the two films doesn’t give away much, except to say that “The saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode isn’t over.”
While these two films will now complete a trilogy that began with last year’s Halloween, which itself eschewed other films in the franchise and acted as a direct sequel to the original film in the series, which was also named Halloween.
