After recovering from a heart attack in early 2018, film director Kevin Smith began a lengthy process of modifying his health regimen. Conveniently enough, this included following up on a promise that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams made to come visit the film’s set when he recovered. During Comic Con 2019, Smith revealed to IGN that Abrams had actually stopped him from seeing the final shot of Star Wars Episode 9 because it would “melt your mind.”
