Earlier this month, Nintendo announced a revised model of the original Nintendo Switch, one with a much improved battery life over the current crop of Nintendo Switch consoles.

No, I’m not talking about the Nintendo Switch Lite, but the iterative Nintendo Switch upgrade, which is kind of confusing if you’re an outsider. It’s still kind of confusing even if you follow gaming news closely. The Switch Lite is slightly smaller, can’t be docked, and its Joy-cons are permanently affixed to the sides. The new Switch model is just the same as the existing Switch model, except it has now has better battery life.
