The Avengers may be no more (for now, anyway), but Thor himself still has a big part to play in the future of the MCU. Phase 4 will culminate in November 2021 with the release of Thor: Love and Thunder. Not only will this sequel reunite Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson with director Taika Waititi, but it’ll also bring back Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster as the new goddess of thunder.
Currently, Thor, Valkyrie and Jane Foster are the only three characters confirmed for the sequel. However, rumors point to Gorr the God Butcher as the next major threat to Asgard.
