Update 2, 8/7/19: Well, here we are again, my PokeFriends. After Pokemon’s June Nintendo Direct echoed information allegedly revealed in leak from May, and then a trailer in July bolstered that leaks potential legitimacy, today’s newest Sword and Shield trailer has once again officially confirmed details first mentioned in that now three-month-old leak.
This time around, the new trailer lines up with the leak by showing off the soccer hooligan-style Team Yell, as well as the fact that your rivals will be named Bede and Marnie. It also confirms regional forms similar to Sun and Moon’s Alolan Pokemon, and the leak even said there would be “regional evolutions” – an idea that initially caused some confusion, but has also been backed up by the Galarian Zigzagoon seemingly having a new evolution of its own.
