A recent FCC filing may have revealed Nintendo’s plan to release a wireless Super Nintendo controller for the Nintendo Switch, which would be very similar to its release of the wireless NES controllers alongside the addition of NES games to Nintendo Switch Online.
Discovered by ResetERA user Link83, the filing includes a single image that very much resembles the back of a SNES controller. Furthermore, the model number – HAC-042 – is inline with other Nintendo Switch model numbers. The Switch itself is HAC-001 and the wireless NES Controllers are HAC-033 and HAC-034.
