Liu Yifei, the Chinese-born actress who is set to star in Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of Mulan, has voiced her support for the Hong Kong police amid ongoing protests, and now there are those who have begun calling for a boycott of Mulan as a result.
As reported by CNN, Yifei posted on Weibo, a social media platform in China similar to Twitter, saying “I support the Hong Kong police. You can all attack me now. What a shame for Hong Kong.”
