Developer Turn10 has announced that Forza Motorsport 6 will soon be entering its “End of Life” status. As with other Forza games before it, this means the title will be getting delisted soon. On September 15, 2019, the game and its DLC will be removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace and users will no longer be able to purchase it digitally. If you’ve already bought the game and any of its DLC, you’ll retain access to it.
If you’ve been holding out on getting the extra car passes, you’ll be happy to know that Turn10 is now offering them at a massive discount. In a very simple move, you can nab the “Complete Add-ons Collection Pack” for a staggering 95% off on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This knocks down the $100 DLC to $5 and gives you everything released for Forza 6 over its lifetime. I’m not sure if you’ll need half of the content here, but that’s certainly a steal.
If you happen to be an Xbox Live Gold member, then you don’t need to worry too much. Forza 6 is one of the current “Games with Gold” offerings for the month. You’ll be able to download it free of charge and grab the $5 DLC pack to get the complete thing. You’ll lose access if your subscription lapses, but will be able to redownload the game should you sign back up.
