Marvel’s Loki is ” taking Loki to an entirely new part of the MCU,” it was announced during the Disney+’ presentation at Friday’s D23 Expo.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige announced the show’s head writer Michael Waldron and director Kate Herron to the crowd of fans. “These are the people who make the shows,” Feige praised.
“We’re taking Loki to an entirely new part of the MCU,” Herron promised, adding that they can’t wait to spend six hours telling more of his story.
Waldron said Loki will “explore the questions we all have: where did Loki go after he picked up the Tesseract? Could Loki ever make a friend? And will the sun ever shine on him again?”
“This is a remarkably ambitious show we’re making,” Feige proclaimed.
